Top Frequently Asked Questions

What is Iris Photography?
Iris photography is a safe, painless process that captures detailed images of the iris.

Do I need an appointment?
We advise to always pre-book your visit, peak times do get booked in advance, however on occasion
there may be same day appointments available.

What is the minimum age for Iris Photography?
We recommend from around 5 years old, however this is all dependent on the child.
To obtain the very best photo quality the subject must be able to sit very still.

How long does the process take?
Photographing the iris itself only takes a few minutes, however the whole process can take around 30 minutes.
You will need to allow time to choose your design before one of our digital artists puts everything together
for you, ready to view and confirm your order.

Can I collect my order the same day?
If your experience package includes a gift mini print then this can be printed for same day collection.
All of our other items are ordered from our expert suppliers and are not same day collection.
(Please ask a member of the team for expected lead times)

For accurate results we request you do not wear glasses or contact lenses whilst your iris is being photographed.
